FAQs

What is floating?
Flotation therapy is a breakthrough treatment involving 800lbs of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) poured into 200 gallons of water in a small shallow pool. The benefits of just a one hour session are significant as they relieve stress, reduce blood pressure, ease joint and muscle pain and enhance ones mood.

What if I fall asleep?
The water will keep you a-float! You'd have to make an abnormally conscious effort in order to roll over, and in the case of getting the salt water in your eyes or mouth... you would wake up immediately! *You agree to our no drug policy.

How big are the tanks?
The tanks measure approximately four feet wide by seven feet long. The tanks are your personal get away and once you have submersed yourself in the experience there are no limits to where you can go.

Will the salt have an effect on my skin?
On a scientific side, most people are 70%-80% deficient in the magnesium and sulfate needed for our skin. Soaking in the epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) is the best way to absorb the needed magnesium and also detoxifies the body, leaving your skin feeling soft and silky!

Are there age restrictions?
If you are old enough to go swimming in the pool or go into the water at the beach, you are old enough to float.

What will I hear?
An auxillary cord is provided for listening if you want to hook up your device and bring a playlist for guided meditation. However, many floaters elect to float without these additional options.

What is the 2 person booking deal?
This means that you and a friend can save money by booking at the same time.  You are in separate tanks during the same time slot.

What is the difference between tanks 1 and 2?
There is no difference; they are the same!
